Don't know what Biodiesel is?

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel produced from natBiodiesel sample, a renewable energy source and alternative fuelural fats or oils, primarily vegetable oils, and simple alcohols like Methanol and Ethanol. Biodiesel can be produced domestically and is a renewable source of energy. It's non-toxic, biodegradable, and burns more completely than conventional diesel. Biodiesel can be substitute for regular diesel fuel with no modifications to the vehicle, though winter use requires care. You can find more information on Biodiesel on the "Links" page, or you can view this Consortium for Education in Renewable Energy Technology (CERET) presentation.

News:

March 25, 2008: We are closely following developments in the "fast-track" postcard registration program for small-scale biodiesel producers. The Wisconsin Department of Energy Independence has been developing this for a few months, and a draft is expected soon.

November 1, 2007: We're currently expanding local oil collection. If you're a restaurant, see our Oil Collection page and then contact us regarding your oil.
